Unfortunately we needed to cancel the Wairarapa road ride day trip last Saturday due to high winds and rain, but the good news is, it was really only a postponement! The trip is on again, Saturday 19 October. 
 
Revolve is heading to Wairarapa for a road ride day trip to celebrate cycling in Spring, as part of Kia Eke Paihikara Tātou | Greater Welly Bike Fest. We'll catch the train both ways, leaving Wellington Station at 9.55 am, returning from Carterton on the train departing at 5.00pm (arriving Wellington 6.25pm). If you live in the Hutt Valley you can join the train at Petone, Waterloo, Upper Hutt or Maymorn stations only, but please let us know to expect you. Our road bikes can be carried on the train and we'll ride a 75km loop on back roads from Carterton, via Gladstone and lunch in Martinborough, back to Carterton. So we can let the train staff know, tell us you are coming at info@revolvecycling.co.nz with 'Revolve Wairarapa road ride day trip' in the subject line. Include your email and mobile number so that we can send you important information about the trip.

Meet: at the Wellington Railway Station ticket counter at 9.15am, ready to board. We'll buy our tickets together, bring cash in case we can get a group ticket.

Bring: food/snacks, two water bottles, jacket and warm layers, sunscreen, cash, charged bike lights, bike tool, pump, tyre levers and at least two tubes.

Cancellation: we will cancel if the weather is really bad. Cancellation will be posted on FB by 7.00 am on the day of the ride.
